DESCRIPTION
JX-11/21/31 series integrated circuit signal relay
1、 Purpose:
JX series signal relays are used in DC operation protection circuits as signal indicators. Relays are operated by current or voltage, with light signals, magnetic holding, manual or electrical reset, ensuring good reliability.
2、 Working principle
The relay is composed of components such as optocouplers and resistors to form a sampling and detection circuit. When the measured signal reaches a certain value, the optocoupler is turned on, and the signal is amplified by an operational amplifier to drive the output circuit of the subsequent stage, causing the output relay to act. And it is self held by the self holding circuit. After the start circuit signal disappears, the relay is still in the operating state. The relay can only return after pressing the reset button or applying a reset voltage.
3、 Meaning of Relay Model
Example: The ordering code for a signal relay with an auxiliary DC working voltage of 110V and a rated current of 0.5A is: JX-13-0.5A-DC110V。
4、 Relay contact form
The relay provides two sets of conversion contacts. Light signal, magnetic hold, manual and electric reset. The wiring diagram on the back of the relay is shown in Figure 1.

c) Auxiliary DC working voltage: 48V, 110V, 220V.
The operating current of the relay shall not exceed 90% of the rated value. For relays with specifications of 0.01A~1A, the maximum allowable current is 2A, and for relays with specifications of 4A, the maximum allowable current is 5A. At the maximum current, the starting circuit voltage drop of the relay shall not exceed 2V.
3. Action time
The relay action time shall not exceed 15ms.
4. Power consumption
Power consumption of relay DC circuit:
220V: Before operation, the power consumption should not exceed 2W, and during operation (when the signal disappears), the power consumption should not exceed 7.5W. The power consumption after the action (during holding) shall not exceed 4W;
110V: Before the action, the power consumption should not exceed 1.5W, and during the action (when the signal disappears), the power consumption should not exceed 5W. The power consumption after the action (during holding) shall not exceed 2.5W;
48V: Before the action, the power consumption should not exceed 0.5W, and during the action (when the signal disappears), the power consumption should not exceed 3.5W. The power consumption after the action (during holding) shall not exceed 1.5W;
Power consumption of starting circuit: For voltage type relays, it should not exceed 2W, and for current type relays, the starting circuit voltage drop should not exceed 1.7V at rated current.
5. Contact breaking capacity
a) DC circuit: Under the conditions of current not exceeding 2A and voltage not exceeding 250V, the external output contact can disconnect a DC inductive load of 30W with a time constant of 5ms ± 0.75ms.
B) AC circuit: Under the conditions of current not exceeding 1A and voltage not exceeding 250V, the external output contact can disconnect the load of the circuit with a power factor cos φ 0.4 ± 0.1 of 250VA.
6. Medium strength
The conductive circuits of the relay should be able to withstand an AC test voltage of 2kV (effective value) and 50Hz between the exposed non charged metal parts and the casing, as well as between the input circuit contacts, for a duration of 1 minute without insulation breakdown or flashover.
7. Working conditions
a) The usage location does not allow explosive media, and the surrounding media should not contain corrosive metals, gases that damage insulation, or conductive media. It is not allowed to be filled with water vapor or have serious mold presence;
b) Strong vibrations and impacts are not allowed in the usage location;
c) The usage location should have facilities to defend against rain, snow, wind, and sand;
d) The usage location does not allow an external magnetic induction intensity exceeding 1.5mT.
8. Electrical anti-interference
Relays shall comply with GB7261 and GB6261 "Electrical anti-interference test for static relays and protective devices".
